The museum at the Bergisel hill ranks among the top destinations for all those who want to discover and experience the rich history of Tyrol – including all its drama and contrarieties. Centerpiece of the museum is the “Innsbrucker Riesenrundgemälde” – an epic 360 degree panoramic painting depicting one of the Tyrolean Battles of Bergisel, as took place on August 13th 1809.
