FeuerWerk - HolzErlebnisWelt (exhibition)

Discover the magic contained inside of timber! Guided tours walk you through one of the most advanced and most profitable biomass heating plants in all of Europe. All your senses will be stimulated to increase your awareness of this miracle of nature. The tour takes about 60 minütes and features an electronic audio guide in 6 languages. It includes a screening of the award-winning documentary “HolzLeben” (“Timber Life”) in our very own theater. Afterward, the SichtBAR lodge – located at an elevation of 16m – invites you to culinary delights and a gorgeous view on the Zillertal mountain landscape and its many forests.

NEW: “HolzWerk – der Weg des Stammes” (documentary)

Our gallery continually exhibits works of renowned artists from the region and from around the world. Timber receives a new layer of meaning when used as an artistic material.
